Did the electoral results meet their expectations?
The Electoral Commission of India began the counting of votes in 70 seats for the elections of the Delhi 2025 assembly at 8 am on Saturday.
The battle for the next government is mainly seen as a contest between the AAM AADMI ruling party and the Bharatiya Janata party, which has been in the opposition since 1998.
However, Congress could shake the equation with unexpected surprises, potentially altering political dynamics.
Here are the outstanding aspects:
Early trends show BJP leadership
The Bharatiya Janata party was a leader, followed by the AAM AADMI party and then the Congress, the first trends were shown.
The head of the AAP, Arvind Kejriwal, who is playing from the constituency of New Delhi, CM Atishi of Kalkaji and Manish Sisody of Jangpura were attributed in their respective seats.
Sandeep Dikshit of the New Delhi and Alka Lamba Seat Congress of Kalkaji are also following according to the first survey trends.
In addition, Kapil Mishra of BJP of Karawal Nagar and Parvesh Verma of New Delhi are leading.

The 2015 elections saw AAP secure a landslide victory, claiming 67 of 70 seats. In 2020, the party retained power with 62 seats, while the BJP won the remaining eight. Congress, once again, could not secure a single seat.
How many seats are each party playing?
AAP and Congress have presented 70 candidates, while BJP has played 68 seats, leaving two for its allies: Janata Dal (United) and the LokTantrik Janshakti party (Ram Vilas).
