The officials in charge of enforcing the law in New Jersey have opened a criminal investigation into a devastating fire of the house, which the neighbors have called an explosion, on Sunday that left two dead people and a house left so little more than a lot of debris in the municipality of Washington.
Prosecutors in the municipality of Gloucester told Neil Fischer de NBC10 that the Gloucester County Chief Office is working with the officials responsible for enforcing the law to determine how the deadly fire may have begun, since the incident is now considered a criminal investigation.
The authorities also said that the Forensic Office of the County is still working and has not yet prepared an autopsy report on the two people, a man and a woman, who were taken from the remains of the house.
The identities of the two people who are in the property have not yet been revealed by the officials responsible for enforcing the law.
But, the neighbors, and a woman with whom she left previously, identified the man who lived in the house as Daniel Steele.
“It’s an emotional roller coaster. It hurts my whole family. I hurt for his family. I hurt myself, because they give it was one of the best people I have met,” said Steele’s ex-girlfriend, Nicole Ruiz, Miguel Martinez-Valle de NBC10.
Ruiz said that, before Sunday’s fire, Steele left his dog, Billy, at home and along with some dog food.
