The Deputy Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, met Wednesday with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, and the Interim Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, Amir Khan Muttaqi, and agreed to extend the economic corridor of Pakistan (CPEC) from China to Afghanistan.
On Monday, the Deputy Prime Minister Dar arrived in the capital of China, Beijing, on an official three -day visit by invitation from the Chinese Foreign Minister Yi amid regional tensions. The trilateral forum was established in 2017, with previous meetings held in Beijing and the Afghan capital.
China said Tuesday that supports Pakistan in the defense of “national sovereignty and territorial integrity”, after a high fire ended four days of struggle with India for a deadly attack in busy Kashmir.

The three foreign ministers reaffirmed trilateral cooperation as a vital platform to promote regional security and economic connectivity, the statement continued.
“It was agreed that the sixth meeting of trilateral foreign ministers will take place in Kabul at an early and mutually convenient date,” according to the FO.
Foreign ministers discussed diplomatic participation, strengthening communications and taking practical measures to boost trade, infrastructure and development as key promoters of shared prosperity.
The ministers underlined their shared commitment to counteract terrorism and promote stability and development in the region.
Dar published a photo of himself with his counterparts, saying that they joined for regional peace, stability and development.
He also held a separate meeting with FM Muttaqi in which the two welcomed the positive impulse in bilateral ties, including the best diplomatic participation, trade and traffic facilitation.
“They agreed to work together to advance mutual interests, even in the domains of commerce, transit, connectivity and security,” said the FO.
At the beginning of the month, the Afghan government under the Talibanes requested “mutual respect and constructive commitment” with Pakistan and China, according to a statement issued by its Interior Ministry.
The statement was issued after special envoys from Pakistan and China, Mohammad Sadiq and Yue Xiaoyong, met with the Minister of the Interior Afghan Sirajuddin Haqqani in Kabul.
On May 15, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of India, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, held a telephone conversation with the FM Muttaqi in functions, which marked the first scope at the level of Minister of India to the Taliban administration in Afghanistan, the Hindu reported.
The air chief praises China’s role in Pakistan’s defense capabilities

The envoy recognized the operational effectiveness and strategic insight of PAF in the use of indigenous solutions and advanced systems to safeguard national interests and dissuade possible threats under current leadership.
By reaffirming the last support of China, the ambassador assured PAF complete technical assistance to reinforce its air defense capabilities.
He also praised Pakistan’s commitment to self -sufficiency and emphasized that PAF’s investment in indigenous processes had begun to obtain promising results. He stressed that the continuous approach in the technological development of its own harvest would further raise the country’s defense capabilities.
