But that was not the end of his terrible experience. Just when his family moved to another place to flee harassment and social spikes, and in silence he organized his marriage in a distant place, the defendant learned and sent a video of sexual assault to his fiance, after which the wedding was canceled.
What came after that was worse. The defendant’s family demanded the money. It was then that the survivor’s father, unable to tolerate pressure and threats, met Hapur Sp Kunwar Gyananjay Singh. On Thursday there was a FIR on Thursday, almost two years after the crime.
The woman’s father said: “After my daughter was raped, a Panchayat was called where they were forced to solve the issue of RS 2.5 Lakh. We left the village for another place and organized my son’s marriage with a man recently, but the defendant sent an obscene video to his fiance. His marriage was fired. What do we do now?”
The survivor’s mother said she was also recently attacked and discouraged by the defendant’s family. “They came to us demanding the money and began to be moodyed with us. When my wife opposed them, he was attacked. The defendant broke his clothes,” the girl’s father told the police to the police.
“The initial incident was not informed. Now, a written complaint has been received, after which a FIR has been recorded by virtue of sections 376 (violation), 354 (assault or criminal force) and 506 (criminal intimidation) against five men,” said Hafizpur Sho Ashish Kumar.
“Teams have been formed to investigate the matter, and arrests will be made,” added the sho.
