The Syndh (CTD) contractorism department said Saturday that he found the participation of the Wing of Research and Analysis of the Indian Intelligence Agency (RAW) in the objective murder of a man in the district of Badin and arrested six suspects in this connection.
On July 30, the CTD said he arrested four alleged members of a separatist militant group for prohibited in Karachi for charges of killing a man in Matli in Badin on May 18. During the interrogation, the suspects had confessed that they had shot the victim, identified as Abdul Rehman. A case was recorded under positions of terrorism.
According to a statement from the law of application of the law today, “in a joint operation, Sindh CTD and state intelligence agencies tracked the network that worked for the Indian Intelligence Agency RAW (investigation and analysis wing) and arrested six suspects.”
He added that the 45 -year -old victim was “an innocent citizen who actively participated in welfare work.”
“The suspects escaped after killing him unfairly,” the statement said, adding that the Indian media had expressed “immense joy” about the murder and said that “an Indian enemy was killed in Pakistan.”
The statement also said that the provincial government had appointed a joint investigation team under the leadership of the Inspector General of the CTD inspector for investigation.
“During the investigation, thoroughly reviewing all aspects, including the statements of the suspects, the records and bank transactions, there was clear evidence that suggests the participation of the prohibited organization for prohibited revolutionary army in the facilitation of RAW,” he said, adding that the teams have formed to obtain more arrests.
Speaking during a press conference today, the additional inspector of CTD (AIG) Azad Khan said: “According to technical information, four suspects, Umair Asghar, Sajjad, Ubid and Shakeel were arrested on July 8. After the investigation, there was evidence of their links to RAW.”
He continued: “The investigation also showed that the intellectual author of this (murder), which resides in a state of the Gulf, was an Indian agent and manager Sanjay Kumar aka Fauji.”
He explained that Sanjay had hired a Sheikhpura resident named Salman. “On May 12, Salman traveled to Hyderabad and stayed in a hotel. His four accomplices came from Muridke and Sheikhpura,” he said, adding that they monitored the target movements for five days.
Aig Azad said three of the suspects, Shakeel, Ubaid and Sajjad, went to Matli to carry out the murder, adding: “Umair and Salman stayed at the hotel in Hyderabad and handled the operation from there.”

The CTD recovered a 9 mm gun, a 30 -holes pistol, a 125 cc motorcycle and mobile phones from the suspects, he said. He added that RAW also used a separatist organization and more research is being carried out.
The official also declared that “such extraterritorial murders” are considered terrorism sponsored by the State under international law.
When pointing out the previous participation of the Indian Espionage Agency in “similar actions in other countries,” he said: “They use criminal elements, terrorist groups and representatives. That was the modus operandi in this case, as is evident in the facts on RAW’s participation during our investigation.”
On Monday, an anti -terrorism court in Karachi referred an alleged raw agent in the custody of the CTD, Muhammad Arsalan, about his alleged financing and facilitation of terror in this case of objective murder.
The CTD said the initial interrogation revealed the participation of Arsalan and Umair in the financing of the terrorist, while the remaining suspects were directly linked to the citizen’s target murder. He added that an “Indian citizen” had given them the goal and paid RS3 million.
In June, four alleged Indian agents were arrested in a raid made in the Karachi Quaidabad area. “The suspects had made videos and captured images of the country’s confidential facilities, which used to send RAW with specialized software,” said the police.
