A policeman was martyred, while another six were injured in an explosion near an anti -terrorism force (ATF) of Baluchistan in Quetta on Saturday, according to officials.

“The ATF vehicle was severely damaged in the explosion,” Kharoti said, added that 2-3 kilograms of explosives were used on the device.
“The police and other officials responsible for enforcing the law arrived at the scene, collected evidence and began to investigate more thoroughly,” said the sho.
The medical superintendent of the Bolan Medical Complex (BMC), Dr. Sultan Lehri, said the explosion wounded six people and the body of an ATF official was taken to the complex. He said the six received medical treatment and three of them injured seriously.
The provincial government spokesman Shahid Rind, confirmed the explosion and martyrdom of the police.
“Six people were injured in an explosion near a police mobile in Karani Road and a policeman was martyred,” said Rind in a statement, added that the injured received medical treatment.
“The law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area and investigations are underway,” he added. “The nature of the explosion is being determined and initial evidence is being collected.”
Baluchistan’s prime minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti firmly condemned the explosion and paid tribute to the martyred ATF officer in a statement from his office.
The main minister also ordered that the best medical facilities be provided to the injured, the statement added.
“Terrorists cannot demoralize people with cowardly acts,” Bugti said. “The sacrifice of the martyred officer will not go in vain; Those responsible will be taken before justice. “
He added that indiscriminate operations would continue against terrorists and their facilitators.
“The law and order will be guaranteed at all costs and security agencies are on alert,” Bugti said. “The people of Baluchistan are linked against terrorism and will frustrate the enemy’s plans.”
The incident occurred in the middle of a tense atmosphere in the province after this week’s previous terrorist attack against a Jaffar Express train near the Bolan district.
The attack began on Tuesday afternoon when the terrorists of the Liberation Army of Baluchistan (Bla) ambush the train to Peshawar with 440 passengers, opened fire and took hostages. The security forces launched a two -day operation, concluding on Wednesday night. Lieutenant General Chaudhry confirmed that the 33 terrorists were neutralized, but no hostages were damaged in the final rescue phase. He also said that the incident had changed the “rules of the game.”
The operation, which lasted more than 36 hours, resulted in the rescue of 354 passengers. However, 26 hostages lost their lives, including 18 military and border personnel, three railway employees and five civilians. In addition, five security personnel were martyred.
