The planning minister, Ahsan Iqbal said on Saturday that the conspiracy created by the bad supporters of Pakistan has failed in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and the Government will completely implement the commitments it has made with the joint committee of Awami Action (Jaac).
“The scenes that Pakistan’s patients wanted to see, the riots, chaos and disorder in AJK, their conspiracy has failed. The federal government will completely implement the commitments it has made, and with the 15 -day mechanism that has been established, I am sure there will be no more opportunities for such serious to arise again,” said the minister while adding a press conference after the two nuts.
Iqbal was accompanied by Amir Muqam and Qamar Zaman Kaira of PPP.
The signing of the agreement is produced after two rounds of conversations between the high -level government delegation and the JAAC in so many days.
The conversations between the JAAC, the AJK government and the federal ministers about elite privileges and the seats reserved for refugees broke last week. Since then, rival groups since then organized protests, the trade of the fault of the violence that spoiled what began as a largely Pacific movement in AJK. The fierce clashes between protesters and law agents have left at least 10 people dead and recorded seriously injured in the territory.
Iqbal added that after the successful conclusion of the conversations between the two parties, La Paz has been restored in the region. Iqbal expressed his satisfaction on the dialogue process and said that “it was carried out in the view of the interests of the people of Cashmiro and the interests of Pakistan.”
Recognizing administrative weaknesses, the minister said that government bodies should be more receptive. “People are now more aware, the media have made them more informed and their expectations have increased greatly.”
Kaira said that after the agreement, AJK’s people “gave a relief sigh today” and added that the established mechanism must succeed as “we have no other option that is not guaranteeing its success.”
A high -level federal government delegation signed an agreement with Jaac today to end the days of disturbances in AJK, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif saying that “all problems have been solved friendly.”
A day before, the Pakistan Human Rights Commission (HRCP) had said that it was “deeply alarmed” for current violence in AJK, and condemned the “use of excessive force” and the communications blackout.
In a publication on the social media platform X during the early hours of the following Saturday, said Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, who was part of the Government’s negotiation committee, said: “Our negotiation delegation has signed in a final agreement with the Joint Ajk Action Committee. Protestors are returning to their homes. All roads have been forwarded.”
“This is a victory of La Paz. Long Live Azad Kashmir,” added the minister. Chaudhry also shared a copy of the pact in X, which listed 12 “decisions” made and 13 “additional points.”
According to the agreement, it was decided that the first information reports (FIRS) would be registered under the Anti -Terrorism Law (ATA) on the “incidents of violence and vandalism that results in the death of the personnel belonging to the Leas (agencies of application of the law) and the protesters”, with a judicial commission designated when necessary.
“The persons killed in the incidents of October 1 and 2, 2025 will be compensated with monetary benefits equivalent to Read,” said the pact, adding that shooting injuries would be compensated with RS1 million per person, while a government work would be granted to one of the family members of each person dead in 20 days.
Chaudhry, the Minister of Cashmir Affairs, Amir Muqam, the Minister of Interprovincial Coordination, Rana Sanaullah, the Minister of Planning Ahsan Iqbal, the Minister of Religious Affairs, Sardar Yousaf, former advisor of the Prime Minister on issues of Kashmir. From the AJK government side, the Minister of Education, Diwan Ali Chugtai, and the Local Government Minister, Faisal Brachore, participated in the conversations, according to a copy of the signed pact shared by Chaudhry.
Raja Amjad, Shaukat Nawaz Mir and Anjum Zaman Awan represented Jaac.
On September 25, a dead point emerged between the AJK government and the JAAC on the abolition of elite privileges and the seats reserved for refugees based in Pakistan of the Kashmir occupied by India.
Subsequently, a closing strike had paralyzed AJK under a communications blackout since the beginning of this week while the JAAC continued to accept its 38 -point demand letter.
The conspiracies are now buried as friendly problems: PM Shehbaz
Welcoming the agreement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in a statement said that “all conspiracies and rumors are now buried and the problems have been solved friendly,” managed by the State Pakistan radio reported.
He appreciated the members of the Federal Government’s negotiation committee and JAAC to sign the pact to “solve all problems.”
By qualifying an achievement for Pakistan and Ajk, the prime minister said that “the restoration of peace and normality is a good gesture,” the report added.
Prime Minister Shehbaz said the government “is always ready to solve the problems of Kashmir brothers, since public interest and service are among our main priorities.”
He appealed to the Kashmira so that he did not pay attention to the rumors, stating that the government “had always protected” their rights and will also ensure them in the future.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz had expressed a deep concern for the disturbances in AJK, ordering the negotiation committee to immediately proceed to Muzamphabad and find an immediate and lasting solution to the problems.

Iqbal also welcomed development, writing in X: “Pakistan, Ajk and democracy wins.”
He stressed that AJK’s people “had always stopped in the first national cause of Pakistan, and his voice has immense weight.”
By pointing out that the nation “saw a difficult situation arise due to legitimate public concerns,” the planning minister praised the “wisdom of local and national leadership and the spirit of dialogue that allowed us to resolve this peaceful confrontation, without violence, without mutual division and respect.”
He stressed that the resolution of the problem showed that “when the government listens, and when people get involved in a constructive way, we can find solutions together.”
“The joint action committee raised the voice of the citizens, and the government under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took these voices seriously. Instead of confrontation, we chose the consultation. Instead of the egos, we chose empathy. We commit ourselves to work together for a good governance and development in AJK,” Iqbal added.
