Nueva Delhi: Bihar’s Prime Minister Nithis Kumar, on Sunday he assured the Interior Minister of the Union, Amit Shah, who would not leave the BJP NDA leading alliance Again, saying that he had done it “twice by mistake.”
He admitted: “I made the mistake twice. But it will never be again.” With the elections of the Assembly approaching, Kumar made this statement in a function in Patna, where he and Shah inaugurated several projects of the center and the State.
Amit Shah, who previously served as president of the Bharatiya Janata (BJP) party, addressed the party workers on Saturday night, saying that the victory of the BJP in Bihar would have a significant impact beyond the State. On Sunday, he was scheduled to conclude his two -day visit with a meeting at the Kumar residence, where Leaders of Nda’s allies were also expected.
During the event, Shah and Kumar seemed cordial. When heading to the meeting, Kumar noticed the great participation in the place, saying: “This extensive auditorium has been filled beyond capacity.”
He also said that it was former Atal Bihari Vajpayee prime minister who made it the cm of Bihar. “Who made me cm, did the respected Atal Bihari Vajpayee. We have done a lot of work,” he said.
Kumar, who has often talked about his commitment to secularism, continued his speech criticizing previous governments, particularly the RJD-Congress Alliance. He said: “What did those who were in power do before? They used to obtain votes from Muslims, but could never stop clashes between communities.” He added that Bihar lacked adequate medical care and good educational facilities before his government assumed the position in 2005, claiming improvements since then.
Nitenh Kumar has been a BJP ally since the mid -1990s, but the alliance ended in 2014. He returned to the NDA in 2017, and then went back to 2022 to align with the opponent India Bloc. However, ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha electionsHe joined the NDA led by BJP.
In his speech, Kumar said that his past decisions to leave the BJP were influenced by individuals within his own party.
