State drug test laboratories have also identified 56 medications. In February, the government had said that a Bengal sample had been identified as a spurious medication, which was made by an unauthorized manufacturer that used a brand owned by another company. The authorities declared that NSQ, erroneous and spurious medications are identified regularly and are eliminated from the market through coordinated efforts with state regulators.
