New Delhi: Rajya Sabha president Jagdeep Dhankhar Judicial transparency In the midst of the ongoing controversy on a large amount of cash that was recovered from the Judge of Delhi, the official judge of the official residence of Judge Yashwant Varma, a fire in a warehouse.
Dhankhar thanked the leader of the house in Rajya Sabha, JP Nadda, and leader of the opposition Mallikarjun Kharge for having a “significant deliberation” with him on the subject.
Dhankhar also said that it was for the first time since the independence that a president of the Supreme Court has made all the material available to the public domain and shared it without retaining anything.

Meanwhile, the Superior Court of Delhi announced the immediate retirement of Judge Yashwant Varma Of judicial duties days after substantial effective in its official residence was found during a fire fighting operation.
“In view of recent events, the judicial work of the honorable Mr. Justice Yashwant Varma is withdrawn with immediate effect, to new orders,” says the circular.
This action occurred after the CJI had ordered the President of the Superior Court of Delhi to temporarily suspend the judicial tasks of Judge Varma.
On March 14, during the holidays of Holi, there was a fire in the early hours of the official residence of Tughlaq Road of Justice Varma in the delhi of Lutyens.
Emergency responders, including police and firefighters services, arrived to control the fire and, according to reports, discovered important cash holdings in one of the property dependencies. The senior officials were notified, who subsequently informed the President of the Supreme Court of India on March 15.
Then, the CJI ordered the Supreme Court of the Superior Court of Delhi to provide a report on the incident, including the explanation of Judge Varma with respect to the alleged cash discovery.
