Brendon Rodney believes that 4×100 male meters relay team is the best in Canadian history.
In this year’s world championship, Rodney and his teammates Aaron Brown, Andre de Grasse and Jerome Blake have the opportunity to make that statement undeniable.
Rodney joined CBC Sports Trackside The coanffations lost Felicien and Brown to talk about what makes the current relay team successful and how they coincide with the team of the 90s led by Donovan Bailey.
Mentioning that De Grasse said previously that he wanted his team to be known as the best Canadian relay team, Felicien asked Rodney how he thinks his team accumulates now.
“We are definitely the best, I mean, in the fact that we have the National Registry. It’s just the truth,” Rodney said. “I don’t think they donov [Bailey] We will admit it yet, but we are definitely the best team, [and] If we align with them, we would defeat them.

“I want to say that we are the best team, but, of course, the medals are what they tell in our sport, and we have to get the medals to solidify that,” Rodney said.
