New Delhi: a burst It happened in a mosque in Maharashtra Beed District on Sunday a day before Eid-ul-fitr.
Police have arrested two people in the matter. The explosion was activated by gelatin sticks, authorities reported. So far no victims have been reported.
A man entered the mosque from behind and allegedly placed gelatin sticks, which led to an explosion that damaged the inside of the mosque.
The village head immediately alerted the Talawada police around 4 in the morning upon receiving the information, the Beed Police Superintendent, Navneet Kanwat, and other senior officials rushed to the scene.
The authorities deployed great security in the village to avoid any problem of law and order, confirmed an official.
