The former New England Patriots soccer coach Bill Belichick, hopes to clarify the record of his labor relationship with his 24 -year -old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.
In an interview about “The Pivot Podcast” to promote his new book, “The art of winning: lessons of a life in football, “on Friday, Belichick spoke in more detail about how Hudson helps him juggled with his opportunities outside the field.
“As I stay focused on football, some of the other opportunities that arise, Jordon looks at them and can deepen a little deeper,” he said. “But really what she does helps me to spend my time in football, and that is the important thing for me.”
The 73 -year -old coach added that Hudson helps him schedule what he described as “personal opportunities”, such as interviews with the media or speech arrangements.
He also said that Hudson gave him tips on things to exclude or include in his book, such as eliminating technical terms of certain chapters and dedicating page numbers to certain players and family members.
Belichick and Hudson became viral during an interview with “CBS Sunday Morning” last month in which Hudson herself blocked the soccer coach of the University of North Carolina to answer a question about their relationship.
When the CBS interviewer, Tony Dokoupil, asked how the couple met, Hudson, sitting on a desk at the bottom, jumped and said: “We are not talking about this.”
“No?” Said Dokoupil.
“No,” she replied.
The uncomfortable exchange seemed to generate more speculation about the information that the couple was trying to keep in private.
Since then, Belichick issued a statement by saying that the couple had nothing to hide about how they met. He also said in Jest during the podcast interview that Yoga took because he is “trying to stay young.”
This week, Belichick got into another short exchange with an interviewer in ESPN, where he was interrogated if his relationship with Hudson would affect his ability to lead the football program at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
“That is really aside,” he told ESPN on Tuesday. “It’s a personal relationship, and she has nothing to do with UNC football.”
Belichick has the greatest amount of super bowl victories of any chief coach in American football, with six victories under his credit of the New England patriots. He is considered one of the best coaches of all time.
