Bengaluru: Space Startup Galaxeye, who at the beginning of this year completed the analysis of the payload data that had been implemented and tested on board the platform of the PSLV orbital experiment module (poem) of Isro, in the rocket that launched the mission of experiment of experiment India Docking Space (Spadex) on December 30, 2024 achieved another success.
The firm, its CEO and co -founder, Suashh Singh, confirmed to Toi, has successfully tested its synchronization image system, which was part of the poem payload, in one of the most extreme environments of the orbit: the anomaly of the South Atlantic (SAA), a region where the Earth’s magnetic field is unusually weak.
“The poem platform was going through SAA and we had the opportunity to activate our payload and repeat our test sequence. We were not sure of success, since it was essentially a prototype payload. There was some uncertainty involved. We had met our main goals the previous month. However, this time we wanted to try in extreme conditions, it is approximately -10 ° C there, ”Singh told Toi.
Success has led the company to consider trying the payload again. “SAA has an extreme cold temperature, now we will also try to do it on the other side of the temperature, which is also in extreme heat conditions. Temperatures could be as high as 150 ° C, ”said Singh.
Previously, the firm had said that his poem aboard ‘GLX-SQ PAY’ was the first fusion of the world of Synthetic opening radar (SAR) and optical images in orbit.
“Our user burden demonstrates an unprecedented capacity to merge SAR and optical image technologies, allowing unprecedented ideas for defense, agriculture and disasters management applications. The most notable characteristic of the system is its ability to process and compress volumes of massive data in less than 10 minutes, delivering processable solutions in real time, ”said the firm.
Singh said this was not only a technological milestone, but the beginning of a trip to redefine the possibilities of remote sensing and spatial solutions.
Taking advantage of Isro’s poem platform, which converts the fourth stage of a PSLV rocket into an orbital testing test, Galaxeye validated its advanced technologies in a space environment of the real world. The successful mission prepares the scenario for the next Drishti mission of the company, a flagship multisener satellite project aimed at providing high -resolution images for all climate.
Founded in 2021, the objective of Galaxeye is to build the first multisensorship satellite in the world capable of delivering high -resolution comprehensive data in various industries.
