The influence of Mexican beauty, Valeria Márquez, was killed and killed the camera during a Tiktok live broadcast.

Márquez, 23, was sitting inside a beauty salon in Zapopan when the images of live broadcast caught the shocking incident. The influencer, who wore the same body he had in his last Instagram photo, was seen holding a teddy pig in his lap in the moments before his death.

It was heard saying in Spanish: “They come”, before a voice out of the screen greet her with: “Hey, okay?” Márquez then responded “yes” and silenced the sound in the transmission. Seconds later, he seemed to be shot by a firearm.

His Instagram tracking shot himself from less than 100,000 to almost 260,000 following the news when a mixture of support and shock was spotted in the comments of his recent publications.

The city police officers and the paramedics confirmed Márquez’s death upon reaching the scene, according to the office of the Jalisco State Attorney. The office declared on Tuesday that the murder is being investigated by potential femicide, which the UN is defined by the UN as “an intentional murder with a gender -related motivation.”

The investigation of the statista data collection platform classified Mexico as the second highest nation for femicides in Latin America in 2023. The country registered almost 800 cases in 2024, a decrease in previous years. The victims tended to have pre -existing family or communal relationships with their aggressors, according to statista.

The initial investigations for Márquez’s murder discovered that a man had entered the facilities and apparently shot him a gun. Researchers continue to gather evidence. According to Tuesday’s statement, Márquez’s body was transferred to the facilities at the Jalisco Institute of Forensic Sciences, where he would expect official identification and an autopsy.
