Bangladesh’s interim government has rejected an invitation extended by the India Meteorological Department (IMD) to celebrate its 150th anniversary, citing restrictions on “non-essential foreign travel at state expense”. Bangladesh Meteorological Department acting director Mominul Islam confirmed the decision on Friday.
