Quetta: The Baluchistan Assembly adopted a resolution on Friday that requested that all private schools in the province align their curricula with the Balchistan Textan Book Board and stop charging registration fees during the three months of winter and summer vacation.
The resolution, moved by Syed Zafar Ali Agha, a Jui-F Mpa de Pelhin, was adopted without opposition during the session chaired by President Abdul Khaliq Achakzai.
Speaking about the resolution, Mr. Agha expressed concern that many private schools in the province follow the curricula that significantly differ from the Baluchistan textbook board, which negatively affects the performance of the students. He added that some institutions prioritize non -academic activities on education, depriving significant learning students.
He also criticized the practice of collecting early rates for holiday periods, particularly during the winter holiday from December to February. “It is unfair to demand a three -month rate during vacations, especially students from low -income families,” he said.
The resolution urged the Provincial Government to guarantee the fulfillment of the Baluchistan textbooks curriculum, prohibit non -academic activities and prohibit the collection of registration fees during holidays, from December to February in colder areas and from May to July to Julio in warmer regions.

He also requested the introduction of a standardized and reasonable rate structure to the secondary level to guarantee equitable access to quality education.
In response to the resolution, the provincial minister Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani said that a unified national curriculum is being implemented throughout the country. “We have moved much beyond the level ‘Alif, Anaar, Bay, Bakri’,” he said while referring to outdated teaching methods.
The minister recognized issues in the marking of the registration exam and announced an investigation committee to investigate the matter.
Mrs. Durrani added that many previously closed schools had reopened and new teachers have been hired. He pointed out that government schools offer free education until registration, while private institutions follow independent rates structures.
In his speech, Prime Minister Sarfraz Bugti criticized mismanagement at the University of Baluchistan. “New buildings are being built while staff wages are not paid,” he said.
Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, of the National Party, requested the establishment of catheterization laboratories in provincial hospitals and proposed that the construction of the Agricultural University be officially delivered to the University.
CM Bugti replied that the Agricultural University had previously reported that the building did not require, citing a low number of students. It is currently in use by the National Commission for Vocational and Technical Training (NAVTTC), although not under property.
He added that Baluchistan’s youth could become a valuable workforce if it is properly trained and emphasized the need to reform the management structure of universities.
“Nobody wants to see our teachers protesting in the streets,” he said, adding that 3,200 schools had reopened due to government policies and that no school would be closed next year.
Provincial Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar acknowledged that medical care in the province had historically been neglected and that doctors had not received promotions since 2013.
He said that now post medical measures are being taken in rural areas to reduce the overload of patients in Quetta.
The minister also pointed out the lack of data within the Health Department and emphasized the need for doctors to serve in their origin districts, including doctors.
The provincial minister, Noor Muhammad, Dummar, addressed the rumors of social networks on land allocations in Harai and Ziarat, urging the assembly to submit official records.
The speaker ordered the income department to present a complete record of forest lands in Ziarat from 2010 to the present.
