Los Angeles prosecutors on Wednesday did not present any position against the wife of a wezer band member during their initial appearance in court in downtown Los Angeles.
Author Jillian Shrner was accused of shooting police officers on April 8 when LAPD officials were looking in their neighborhood in Eagle Rock to three people who fled from a car accident. The Lapd had said that Shrner left his house, armed with a gun.
An deputy district prosecutor told a judge on Wednesday that because LAPD investigators have not submitted all the evidence they have gathered, the Prosecutor’s Office has not made a decision on what positions they could appear.
The images of the chamber worn by the body shared by the police last week showed that during the incident, the officers repeatedly shouted that the weapon went down before seeing Shrner raising the gun and shooting a shot.
The video also showed two LAPD officers shot, wiring Shrner on his shoulder. He was later treated in a hospital and then arrested under suspicion of the attempted murder of police officers.
Shrner remained free after she registered a bail of $ 1 million.
Several sources of application of the law familiar with the investigation said that while the LAPD presented its evidence to the Office of the District Prosecutor, the prosecutors waited for the CHP, who also had officers in the shooting scene.
Shrner’s defense lawyer did not respond immediately to the request for comments from NBCLA.
