Quetta: The war in Baluchistan has arrived at each home, and there is a great need to launch coordinated actions to address the situation, Main Minister Sarfaraz Bugti said Wednesday.
Speaking at the Baluchistan Assembly on Wednesday, a day after Jaffar Express was kidnapped on the way to Peshawar, he said they should respond through tribal, Islamic and constitutional media, but the positions occupied by terrorists through violent means “will be recovered through violence.”
He congratulated the security forces by successfully completing a highly sensitive rescue operation and expressed concern about confusion regarding terrorism in the chamber.
He reiterated that the Government and the State were ready for dialogue and negotiations, but emphasized that this was not a war of deprivation or rights, but that the separatists demand independence.
“What should we do if we do not perform an operation against armed groups? Terrorism is being funded from neighboring countries, ”he said.
He recalled that the State had repeatedly played the role of a mother and tried to bring Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri back through conversations. He also recalled how Balach Marri was brought from London and helped win the elections. He emphasized anyone who advocates the disintegration of the country and deals with weapons will face the wrath of the State. He said that the government has opened doors for young people in prestigious universities such as Harvard and Oxford, while terrorists could not even hold on to any territory for more than four to five hours.
The prime minister said the State is ready, but those fighting against him are not willing to speak. He criticized the people who declared that Pakistan has lost war, emphasizing that the State has shown restriction. Once a war begins, he said, it will be clear who wins and who loses.
He reaffirmed that the Constitution demanded unconditional loyalty to the State and that the government was willing to do whatever it takes to solve problems, including Jirgas. He said that the Assembly was the representative body of the entire province, and that the policies would be developed based on suggestions of the legislature.
CM Bugti also revealed that soon Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will come to Baluchistan, and he would urge him to call a jirga to solve the problem.
Security meeting
Previously, presiding over a meeting on law and order convened to discuss the recent terrorist attacks in the province, particularly the recent incident that involves Jaffar Express, CM Bugti reaffirmed the government’s determination to take severe measures against terrorists and take them to justice at all costs.
The additional chief secretary, Zahid Salem, reported the meeting on the attack of Jaffar Express, the initial investigations and the security measures that are implemented in response.
In his direction, CM Bugti strongly condemned the attack, called it intolerable, and issued strict action orders against perpetrators.
“Pakistan’s enemies will never succeed in weakening our country. The government will use all its strength to eliminate them, ”he said. “It’s time to leave any confusion behind and launch a large -scale operation against terrorism.”
He added that the rapid apprehension of terrorists would infuse a sense of security between the public and send a strong message to the terrorists.
The meeting was also attended by the main secretary of CM Baber Khan, the inspector General of Police Moazzam Jah Ansari, the inspector general of the Rai Tahir Railway Police and other senior officials.
