As Pakistan’s celebrations are ongoing, President Asif Ali Zardari said that the Pakistan armed forces were ready to represent any type of sacrifice while paying tribute to the armed forces and the agencies of application of the law for giving unprecedented sacrifices.
This day commemorates the resolution of LaHore approved on March 23, 1940 and the adoption of the first Constitution of Pakistan on March 23, 1956.
While talking in a military parade of Pakistan’s Day in Aiwan-Sadr, President Zardari said: “Pakistan faces geopolitical challenges, while his brave armed forces, with the support of the nation, have been giving unprecedented sacrifices.”

He emphasized the need to strengthen defense and boost economic sectors, including agriculture. He described young people an “active of the nation” and urged the need to equip them with research based on research and the last technological training.
The president said that Pakistan’s foreign policy was based on guaranteeing stability and peace, and added that the country wanted strong ties with its neighbors and the international community based on mutual respect and the shared objectives of prosperity.
He reiterated the solidarity of Pakistan with “Kashmir brothers and sisters who had been preparing the Indian atrocities” and reaffirmed that Pakistan would continue to raise his voice in all the global forums for the right of the purse to self -determination.
He also urged all provincial governments to focus on social welfare initiatives.
The military parade was attended by President Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the president of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the president of the Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, three chiefs of services, the main military latons, federal ministers, parliamentarians and members of the diplomatic corps.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz said that with the right policies, dedicated efforts and national unity, Pakistan can achieve economic prosperity, defend social justice and ensure their legitimate place among the nations of the world.
He said that this day is a decisive moment in the history of Muslims in southern Asia.
He said guided by the inspiring leadership of Quaid-E-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, they imagined a state in which Muslims could live with dignity, freedom and self-esteem, a land shaped by their aspirations and values.
He said that this year Pakistan’s day falls into Ramadan, which is a month of deep spiritual reflection, self -discipline and renewed commitment to faith.
The prime minister said that it is a moment that reinforces our collective will and serves as a powerful reminder of the values of sacrifice and perseverance, the principles integrated in the base of our nation.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, said: “We tribute and honor the unwavering and brave efforts, the vision and determination of our ancestors that resulted in the establishment of an independent Pakistan.”
“Pakistan is the identity that we have forged through tremendous sacrifices. United as a nation, we promise to defend and safeguard it. I call my Pakistani companions to excel anywhere, your achievements represent the achievements of Pakistan,” was summoned in a published statement about X by foreign affairs.
He said: “We also honor the struggle and the exceptional sacrifices of our Kashmir brothers and sisters in their search for the inalienable law to self -determination.”
The Foreign Minister also extended his greetings to the Pakistani who live abroad and praised his patriotism.
On Independence Day last year, President Zardari announced the National Awards Conference for 104 Pakistani and Foreigners in recognition of their services, excellence and sacrifices in their respective fields.
The awards were announced on the 78th Independence Day of Pakistan and presented the winners at an investiture ceremony on Pakistan Day, March 23 (today).
