PTI’s founder’s sister, Imran Khan, Aleema Khanum, rejected on Tuesday the rumors of a tense exchange with PTI secretary, Salman Akram Raja, who allegedly led to her decision to resign.

Going to the media later, Aleema said that Imran had ordered PTI legislators to renounce the parliamentary committees and inform him about the decision of the political committee regarding the partial elections of tomorrow morning after holding a meeting later today on the subject based on his instructions.
Meanwhile, Raja said while talking to the media that Imran had not accepted his decision to resign.
He added that the political committee will have a meeting again today to discuss the issue of participating in partial elections based on Imran’s “clear instructions”.
Raja also said that the PTI had a clear position that Omar Ayub and Shibli Faraz remained the opposition leaders in the National Assembly and the Senate, and added that they were still disputing their cases and would meet all the legal requirements.
“If there is a necessity after that, then the name that Imran has repeated today for the leader of Na’s opposition is that of Mehmood Khan Achakzai.”
Raja explained that Imran gave his “clear instructions” about participating in the partial roads after listening to all who are allowed to meet him today, including his sisters.
Meanwhile, the president of the PTI, the lawyer Ali Gohar, said that he had not read the declaration of Raja about resigning as Secretary General, nor had he received any written resignation.
“Imran will decide whether to continue or not. It is unfortunate. I have always said that something of the interior always arises and people make it a problem. Imran said that no party leader would mention his resignation in public.”
The PTI has already obtained stay orders against the elimination of key opposition leaders. It also has nominated replacements, although reluctantly, while the party pursues legal options.
