Jailed PTI founder Imran Khan’s sister Aleema Khan has filed a contempt of court petition against the superintendent of Adiala Jail and others for their failure to comply with an Islamabad High Court order reinstating a twice-weekly meeting schedule for the jailed former prime minister.
The petition was filed after Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, along with several other PTI members, staged a late-night sit-in in front of Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, where Imran has been imprisoned since 2023.
