Celebration camps have been established and Afghan refugees are being repatriated through the Pak-Faghan border in the Chaman district of Baluchistan, according to an official of the district on Thursday on Thursday.
The second phase of sending Afghan refugees had to begin today (Thursday) after the expiration of an March 31 government deadline so that the headlines of the Afghan Citizens Card (ACC) leave the country voluntarily.
However, a senior official of the Afghan Commission said Dawn.com That repatriation had been delayed due to Eidul Fitr according to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s government instructions.
Habib Ahmad Bangulzai, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of the Chaman district, said Dawn.com On Thursday, the return of the ACC holders began on April 2 (Wednesday) and that the retention camps had settled along the Afghan border, including one in the Jamal Nasir football stadium.
“The Chaman district administration completed the arrangements before Eidul Fitr, for which a database camp was established in the LPG terminal at the Bab Dosti border crossing point,” he said.
“Not only will you have data traffic input, but also house Afghan families in the event that the border door is closed.”
Bangulzai added that through Nadra, the biometric verification of Afghan citizens will take place in the Bab Dosti camp and that the Afghan families that remain during processing will receive accommodation and food.
“More than 3,500 families are registered in the Chaman district, of which two families have voluntarily returned,” said the DC. “The encumbrances have taken measures and have changed eight other families to celebrate camps. After entering their data in Nadra and other processes, they will be sent back to their homeland through the border.”
Bangulzai also told him Dawn.com That the DC in other areas of Baluchistan have also contacted him for repatriation units, since Chaman is the “Pak-Faghan gateway.”
“Afghan families come from other districts will have their data re -entered into shaman, after which they will be crossed by the border,” he said.
