Actor Haley Joel Osment faces alcohol, cocaine charges

The actor Haley Joel Osment was accused of minor crimes of being under the influence of alcohol in the public and the possession of cocaine after his arrest in California this month, said Thursday the office of the District Prosecutor of the County of Mono.

Osment, 37, who played a child who can see ghosts in the 1999 movie “The Sixth Sense” and other roles later in life, was arrested on April 8 in Mammoth Mountain.

He will be presented at the Court on July 7, said the district prosecutor’s office.

The records of the online criminal court are not available in the monkey county, and it was not clear if Osment had a lawyer in the case he could speak in his name on Thursday night.

The District Prosecutor’s Declaration on the positions did not detail the accusations.

The TMZ celebrity news website reported that OSment was arrested at Magic Mountain ski resort after someone reported an intoxicated person and after the skiing patrol investigated.

He is accused of a disorderly conduct position: under the influence of alcohol in the public and a position of possession of cocaine, said the Office of the District Prosecutor.
