After all, it looks like there are fireworks going on between Justin Trudeau and Katy Perry.
The former prime minister and the pop star recently made their first public appearance as a couple, after months of speculation about the nature of their relationship.
Neither Perry nor Trudeau have yet spoken publicly about the matter.
To put that into context, earlier this year, Perry and her longtime fiancé, actor Orlando Bloom, announced they were separating after seven years. They have a daughter together.
Likewise, in the summer of 2023, Trudeau and Sophie Grégoire separated after an 18-year relationship; They have three children. Last March, Trudeau resigned as leader of the Liberal Party and prime minister.
