The notion that New York giants would change the Quarterbacks this season seemed to be a matter of when, not if, since April. The NFL draft trade to select a Quarterback in the first round has a way to start a clock in such decisions.
That change, officially, came in week 4, and the moment was unfavorable. The giants, without victories and fighters, were organizing the 3-0 Los Angeles Chargers, who had opted their claim to be discussed as a possible Super Bowl contender.
In a game in which each team suffered a significant loss, it was Dart who gave the giants two things that the season were missing.
A victory, more some hope.
Starting with an inaugural driving touchdown crowned by a Dart-designed race, the first TouchDown of the first quarter of the giants this season, New York beat the 21-18 chargers in the first start of the Dart race.

Nabers caught two passes for 20 yards before leaving.
The chargers (3-1) could also face an absence in the long term. The offensive liner Joe Alt, a first round selection in 2024, was taken with an ankle injury in the first quarter. The ambitions of the team’s Super Bowl depend on the production of the Field Marshal Justin Herbert, but playing behind an offensive mosaic line that already lost a head TACKLE.
The successes that Herbert received on Sunday were “very worrying,” said the chargers coach Jim Harbaugh.
Alt’s injury also comes immediately after other injuries that have exhausted the depth cart of the equipment, including the Nase Harris corridor.
