The president of the Congress, Mallikarjun Kharge, announced on Sunday the formation of an eight -members committee, the Empoderate Action Group of leaders and experts (Eagle), to supervise the management of elections of the Electoral Commission of India (ECI).

The Committee, which includes Ajay Maken, Digvijaya Singh, Abhishek Singhvi, Praveen Chakravarty, Pawan Khera, Gurdeep Singh Sappal, Nitin Raut and Challa Vamshi Chand Reddy, will investigate the first manipulation of the voter list in Maharashtra and a report will be presented to the leadership of the party.
Past and future election monitoring
According to the Secretary General of Congress Venufopal KCEagle will also review the past elections in other states and proactively supervise the next surveys for potential electoral irregularities. The movement indicates the intention of the Congress to analyze the electoral process closely in the middle of political tensions.
