Convoy of oil tankers attacked in Kurram – Pakistan

Kurram: The criminals opened fire against an oil tankers in the Bagan area on Monday to interrupt the supply of diesel and gasoline to the tribal district of Kurram.

However, no damage was reported, with oil carriers successfully reaching the Alizai area in the district later.

“When our oil tankers arrived in Bagan Bazaar under the police escort and security forces, the criminals opened strong fires from the nearby area of ​​Talu Kunj. However, we, despite the attack with weapons, we transport kurram for security, ”said driver Mohammad Qambar Sunrise.

The authorities said that food and other essential elements were transported from such in the district of Hagu to Kurram in three convoys.

They said that the first convoy had 62 vehicles, while the second convoy comprised 58 large load trucks.

The officials said that the third convoy, including five oil tankers, successfully delivered oil products to Kurram on Monday for the first time since the closure of routes.

The members of La Paz Jirga said they would discuss the violation of the recent peace agreement, especially the dismissal of the oil tankers in Bagan, and would end a course of action against the uproar.

Due to the prolonged closure of routes in Kurram, gasoline and diesel arrived in Paracaides for the first time in a long period. The arrested oil supply had forced people to travel on foot through miles.

The parliamentary leader of Majlis Wahdat-i-Muslimeen and the engineer of MNA Hamid Hussain and the member of the provincial assembly Ali Hadi Irfani condemned the attack and said that the interest acquired were determined to create disturbances in Kurram despite the signing of a peace agreement.

They urged local leaders and residents to frustrate uproar conspiracies and play their due role to maintain the law and order.

“A third is actively trying to destabilize the situation in Kurram,” said Mna Hussain. He criticized the authorities for “not fulfilling their duty to protect public life and property effectively.”

The Irfani MPA said it would raise the problem in La Paz Jirga sitting today (Tuesday) and would urge Jirga and the Government to fulfill responsibilities with respect to repeated violations of the peace agreement.
