A man allegedly killed his brother, his sister -in -law and his two daughters in the Abbottabad district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Wednesday, according to the police.
Abbottabad Police spokesman Azam Mir Aphzal Dawn.com that the incident took place in the Bandi Attai area of Havelian.
“The suspect allegedly killed his brother along with his family members, but the reason behind the murders could not be determined immediately.”
He said that a police team had been sent to the area and that a first information report (FIR) was being registered at the Havelian Police Station.
According to the spokesman, the suspect killed his brother, his sister -in -law and two nieces before fleeing the scene.
The spokesman added that the police had reached the place and that the bodies of the victims were transferred to the Havelian hospital for postmortem.
