Washington: Since world leaders are expected to converge in New York for the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, growing crises in Gaza and Qatar are remodeling global diplomatic priorities, with significant implications for Pakistan’s commitment to the United States.

Before landing in London, the prime minister made a stop in Geneva to meet his older brother, Nawaz Sharif.
The old Sharif had arrived in Geneva four days ago to receive medical treatment, accompanied by his son, Hassan Nawaz, and his doctor, Dr. Adnan.
Sharif is expected to travel on Monday to join the prime minister and his delegation, which includes the Minister of Defense, Khawaja Asif, the Minister of Information, Attaullah Tarar and the special assistant of the Prime Minister, Tariq Fatemi.
