Imran Khan’s other nephew Shershah also released from Kot Lakhpat jail after bail – Pakistan

The nephew of the founder of PTI, Imran Khan, Sherhah Khan, was released on Friday from the Kot Lakhpat prison, a day after an anti -terrorism court (ATC) granted him the bond in Lahore.

On Thursday, the bond was awarded in a case related to the attack of the Jinnah House during the disturbances of May 9, 2023, since Shershah’s triathlete brother, Shahrez Khan, was also released from the prison after they were granted the bond one day before.

Lahore’s police had arrested Shershah, son of Imran’s sister, Aleem Khan, from outside his home on August 22. He was then sent to a five -day physical prison and then to jail for 14 days on August 28.

He also published about his launch in an X publication, along with a photo of his co-abogado and Shershah himself.

At the last hearing on Tuesday, the ATC had again granted the prosecution time until today to submit the case registration in relation to the Affection Declaration after Shershah’s arrest.

Atc Manzer Ali Gill judge presided over the hearing today, where the lawyer Fora Mudassar Uumer appeared as Sherhah’s lawyer.

During the hearing, Uumer said that the Prosecutor’s Office had not yet produced the case registration in the case of attack of the Jinnah house against Shershah.

“No one knows when the trial will begin. Therefore, the suspect cannot remain in jail for an unlimited period,” said the lawyer. He said that “there had been no evidence” against his client in the registry.

“The suspect was not involved in any disturbance,” said Uumer, arguing that people with more serious charges against him had received bail in other cases.

“Someone cannot be involved [in a case] Simply based on the identification of a suspect of him, ”said the lawyer.

Pointing out the arrest “28 months” after the incidents of May 9, Uumer alleged: “VENSTATIVE MEASURES ARE BEING TAKEN FOR BEING PART OF THE FAMILY OF THE FOUND OF PTI.

The lawyer described the alleged recovery of a SHERSHAH cane, according to the Prosecutor’s Office, “planted.” He argued that the same ATC had discharged Dr. Yasmin Rashid of PTI of a case based on the declaration of a co-forospechoso.

Subsequently, Judge Gill accepted the subsequent bail statement to Shershah’s arrest against a bail of RS100,000 and ordered his release, if not necessary in any other case.
