The Provincial Police are asking people in Ohsweken, Ontario, to take refuge in their place, saying on Saturday morning that there is an armed suspect in the area.
The application is in response to a disturbance in the Onoondaga Road area and the sixth line in the Six Nations community, which is about 25 kilometers southeast of Brantford, said the Provincial Police of Ontario in a publication on the social media platform X just after 7 am on Saturday.
Residents of the area are asked to block their doors and windows and are attentive to police updates about the situation, the OPP said.
