The Department of Terrorism (CTD) Hyderabad has arrested three “more viewed” terrorists affiliated with the prohibition of the Revolutionary Army of Sindhu Deshu (MSR) in the Jamshoro district during an intelligence -based operation, a CTD statement said on Friday.
In 2020, the Interior Ministry prohibited the SRA Group, Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz-Aresar (JSQM-A) and the Sindhu Debu Liberation Army (SLA) under the anti-terrorist law.
“CTD Hyderabad established a network to eliminate these terrorists through which information about them was obtained,” said the statement, added that they were planning to carry out bomb explosions and murders directed in the city of Hyderabad.
“The terrorists of the forbidden MSS were sought in cases related to the shooting drag that go to Punjab, especially in the areas of District Sujawal.”
The statement detailed that it was discovered that the terrorists had a hand grenade, explosive material, detonator, ball bearings, nut bolts, remote control, battery and prohibited weapons, including a rifle and 8 mm bullets, which were confiscated after the operation.
The arrested terrorists confessed to having carried out multiple attacks, including the planting of pumps in railways and attacking police personnel, while admitting to work under the direct instructions of the central leadership of Mrs.
He added that one of the arrested terrorists revealed during the interrogation that he and his group had received 14 tasks, including murders of police officers and bomb explosions in Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Kotri and other areas.
According to the statement, the terrorist also revealed that on August 18, a remote controlled pump was planted in railways near Hyderabad, while another bomb was planted on August 28 in Latifabad, but was deactivated by the CTD.
“Decute that he had been receiving direct funds from the leadership of Mrs. abroad through Hawala/Sinki channels to carry out terrorist activities and confessed that he had been providing logistical support to other Mrs. agents in Sindh and actively participated in the recruitment of young people for terrorist activities.
“The arrested terrorist admitted that his group was planning a series of pump explosions in Sindh to interrupt peace, and also planned to carry out an attack on September 6,” the statement added.
