At least two members of the Federal Police personnel (FC) were martyred and another 18 were injured in a terrorist attack in the Hagu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, police said Monday.
Kohat Regional Police officer, Abbas Majeed, confirmed the incident to Dawn.comsaying that the terrorists attacked a strong FC in the Torá Wadi area of Doaba. “The terrorist fired and martyd two members of the FC staff and injured another 18,” he said.
The officer said that FC soldiers retaliate to the attack, “resulting in the death of six terrorists.” He added: “The terrorists managed to escape with the bodies of their accomplices.”
He also said that martyred and injured personnel were taken to CMH hospital after receiving first aid.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemned the terrorist attack against the Federal Reserve Police in Hagu for Fitna to Hindustanstate media Application reported.

Last month, nine terrorists died and three security officers were injured in a fire exchange during an operation in Hagu.
Three “searched terrorists” were killed during a joint operation between the Regional Police and the Department of Terrorism in the Bannu district of KP on the night of July 16.
