Islamabad: A new evaluation carried out by the humanitarian aid organization, Islamic relief, reveals that 60 percent of families in poorly affected areas of Buner and Swat have lost their livelihood due to sudden floods and there has also been a massive destruction of homes and farms.

The interim director of the Islamic relief country, Pakistan, Raza Narejo, said that “now the waters of the flood are going back, but the impact is enormous and will affect people here for a long time.
