A federal judge in New York denied on Wednesday the request of the Department of Justice to reveal transcripts and exhibitions of the Grand Jury in the case of Jeffrey Epstein.
The United States District Judge, Richard Berman, discovered that the Government had not reached the high bar necessary to reveal the transcripts, and suggested that there was not much there anyway.
“A significant and convincing reason to reject the government’s position in this litigation is that the government has already conducted comprehensive investigation into the case of Epstein and, as surprisingly, has gathered a” treasure “of documents, interviews and exhibitions of Epstein,” Berman wrote.
“The 100,000 pages of the Government of Archives and Materials of Epstein Eclipsan the 70 odd pages of the Gran Jury of Epstein,” said the ruling, adding that the government’s motion “seems to be a” deviation “of the amplitude and scope of Epstein’s archives in the possession of the government.”
Two other judges have also denied the commitment of the Department of Justice to reveal records of the Grand Jury: one is related to the case in Florida, and the other with the case involving the accomplice of Epstein Ghislaine Maxwell.

The Supervision Committee of the House of Representatives has cited the DOJ for the investigation archive, and the department has said that it will begin to deliver documents to the Committee on Friday.
