Pakistan left Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan of the T20 team appointed on Sunday for the Asia Cup and a warm -heating series from this month against Afghanistan and the United Arab Emirates, according to a press release issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
Azam and Rizwan have been star artists in the shortest format in the past, but they have not played since December, that chief coach Mike HESSON made other players perform well while they are aimed at a press conference.
“We know what a good Babar player (Azam) is,” said Hesson.
“It has been asked to Babar to improve in certain areas, such as taking the turn and in terms of its attack rate, and is working hard on these things.
“The players we have are working well and have a positive impact,” said Hesson.
Since Hesson assumed the position of chief coach in May, Pakistan has played three T20 series, winning 3-0 at home but losing Bangladesh 2-1. Then they beat Western Indies 2-1 in the United States.
“Our approach is to win the Tri-Series and Asia series, and the goal is to achieve its maximum point of these pinnacle events,” said HESSON.
The all -terrain Salman Agha will lead the team, which also sees the return of fast players Mohammad Wasim and Salman Mirza.
Mirza took seven Wickts in Bangladesh, but was out of the team against Western Indies.
The operator Fakhar Zaman also returns after being injured by an international series of one day in the Western Indies last week, which Pakistan lost 2-1.
The Tri-Serie, which begins on August 29, and the Asia Cup on September 9 will take place in the EAU.
