For those who seek what can be the largest concentration of wild food combos in one place, the Canadian National Exhibition has returned and has brought a lot of culinary experiences with it.

The hot dogs two feet long, a cookie with a chicken nugget in it courtesy of Craig’s cookies, and fried watermelon frozen in a stick are just some of the culinary creations available this year.

Other concoctions available at the CNE this year include:

  • Butter soda.
  • A Maki Sushi Corondog.
  • A brown hash ice cream sandwich.
  • Lemonada of street corn honey.
  • Butter cakes, chocolate and matcha funny cakes.

These options, and more, will be available in the 136 food places of the CNE, including six new sellers in the exhibition, distributed between the Princes Gate and the Food Building adjacent to the BMO field.

Other attractions (although its appeal may vary according to the May of these food options that it has tried) includes a dinner in the sky, the first Brunch of CNE Drag organized by Toronto Drag Queen Devine Darlin and the 76th year of Canadian International Air Show.

The walks and games that populate the CNE Midway area are also back, with 63 total options that include pillars such as Polar Express, Scrabler and the Giant Fortune wheel.

The former will also have Mythos, an exhibition that the CNE describes as an immersive anthology series with stories from China, Nigeria and the first Haudenosaunee nation. According to the organization’s website, the CNE worked with artists from various disciplines that have close links with these communities to produce the exhibition.

The CNE will run from August 15 to September 1 at Exhibition Place.
