Tony Hemming of Australia resigned from his position as a chief curator, the Pakistan Cricket Board announced on Saturday.
He was appointed chief curator in July last year, since no extension was given to the previous curator Agha Zahid.
“One of Hemming’s immediate tasks will be to prepare launches for the next five games of the ICC World Testing Championship against Bangladesh [two in August/September] and England [three in October]. Hemming will also supervise the tone preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which Pakistan will be on February 2 to March 9, ”said the PCB at that time.
“Hemming is a curator very respected with almost four decades of experience. He has worked on several iconic Cricks in Australia, including Melbourne, Perth and Tasmania, as well as in countries such as Bangladesh, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, where he was the Curator of ICC from 2007 to 2017 in Dubai.
“During his time with the ICC, Hemming also supervised the launch preparation at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, which was one of Pakistan’s homes [series] Places between 2009 and 2019, ”said the PCB statement.
