It is expected that the president of the United States, Donald Trump, signed an order that requires that the universities deliver admissions data to demonstrate that they are not dedicated to the affirmative action efforts, said the press secretary of the White House in an publication on X on Thursday.

Since he assumed the position of his second term, the Trump administration has tried to dismantle affirmative action policies in universities, launching dozens of research and threatening to cut funds to schools that promote diversity, equity and inclusion programs.
Trump has particularly pointed to Harvard University since he assumed the position, calling the institution a “joke” that teaches “hate and stupidity” and comes so far as to freeze government funds.
In May, the Trump administration revoked Harvard’s right to register foreign students, more than a quarter of their annual registration.
Although the measure was blocked by a judge, the president of the United States maintained his decision.
