The long acquisition of the German legend of Vancouver Whitecaps of the German legend Thomas Müller has finally become reality.
The Whitecaps made the announcement in X, first publishing a photo that shows a sign of the Canada Trans road that points to “Vancoüver” with the legend “Here we go”, followed in rapid succession by a video long minute in which Müller holds his #13 Whitecaps Jersey and the states “WhiteCaps, Lets makes history”.
The former Bayern star of Munich and the World Cup champion have signed for the rest of the 2025 season with an option for 2026, and will officially join the list waiting for their international transfer certificate, visa and work permit, according to the WhiteCaps.
“I really want to come to Vancouver to help this team win a championship,” Müller said in a statement.
The 35 -year -old has made more appearances than any other player in Bayern, and took the two titles of the UEFA Champions League and 13 titles of the Bundesliga, dating a last championship last season.
The attacking midfielder scored 250 goals in his career with the club. Internationally, he won 131 caps, scored 45 goals and added 41 assists for Germany, helping his hometown to win the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
