Pakistan’s women need 143 to win the first twenty 20 international (T20I) against Ireland on Wednesday to continue their winning impulse in the period prior to the World Cup next month.
Captain Fatima Sana was the choice of bowling players for green shirts in the Cricket Clubf Ground clone in Dublin, obtaining four WICKETS for 26 while the team seeks to start a full international calendar, with two world cups of Ball White-Ball, with a winning performance after playing the Irish side for 142.
Sadia IQbal, the bolos player T20i number one in the world, began his spell by granting a limit to the opener of Ireland Amy Hunter.
Captain Fatima attacked only in his second, playing an Asen to evict his opposite number to Gaby Lewis’s average.
The Irish side then recovered to score 48-1 at the end of the power game, courtesy of five limits of the Hunter opener.
The spinner of the left arm Nashra Sandhu entered the attack to play the seventh, granting only five in its first time.
She got the progress in her next time, withdrawing Hunter for 37 when the Irish batter threw himself around her legs while trying to sweep, and the ball crashed into her stumps
In half of the tickets, the Irish side was serpentea in 70-2 before Orla Prengast and Leah Paul gathered in the fold to try to increase the impulse.
However, it was not destined to be when Rameen Shamim got the next Wickt for green shirts when Arrentgast tried to sweep it, just to erase the ball above to a fatima that happily expected in a short leg. The spinner born in Karachi broke the association just before the Irish tickets began again.
Paul was the next one in the fall for Ireland, overcoming a shot by Sadia to be trapped in the long term after scoring a rapid 28 of 19. The Pakistani pattern returned for 17 to claim two more Irish Wickts.
Ireland continued to lose regular wickts, with Fatima Bowling Jane Maguire with a Yorker in the penultimate about the entrances.
The Diana Baig clamp obtained its first Wickt in 20 of the Irish entries, and the Irish team retired by 142 after losing their last two batters for the deceased.
This is the fifth bilateral series T20i between both sides. The record is even found, with Pakistan and Ireland, they had won two series each. However, the head of the head is strongly leaning in favor of Pakistan, with visitors winning 15 of the 19 matches since his first meeting in Dublin in 2009.
The series follows a productive month of preparation for Pakistan, who celebrated a 17 -day skills camp and a five -day camp before the drop at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance center in Karachi before arriving in Dublin on August 3.
Meanwhile, Ireland entered the series with great confidence after a dominant performance against Zimbabwe’s women last month, where they swept the T20i and Odi series at home.
Last week at the press conference prior to the series, answering a question of Dawn.com In the Karachi National Stadium, Fatima said: “Despite the difference in conditions, the batters are confidence and, since our qualifiers went well, we are entering the series with confidence.
“We are looking to continue that impulse and we hope to do well, along with the development of the T20I side too.”
He also talked about how he tries to contribute to the team in any domain, whether batting, bowling or philgation, adding: “I have been trying to improve my batting and play a role in the team’s victory in any aspect that I can.”
The first -order batter Muneeba Ali, talking about the team’s batting performance, said: “Despite the difference in the formats between the Irish Tour and the World Cup, we are looking to focus on T20IS and work on a 50 more years format game.”
The left -hander added: “We have identified where we are missing in the qualifier tournament and we have tried to overcome that [during the training camp] and build on the positive aspects of that tournament. “
