Trump threatens federal control of D.C. following attack on administration staffer known as ‘Big Balls’

President Donald Trump threatened Tuesday for the Federal Government to take control of Washington, DC, after an assault on a well -known original employee by the Government’s efficiency department in the capital of the nation during the weekend.

Edward Coristine, also known by his name online, “Big Balls”, and a woman characterized in a police report, since her partner was victims of a disarmed attempt at car theft at dawn on Sunday.

The Washington Metropolitan Police announced on Tuesday the arrests of two suspects of 15 years of Maryland.

In a publication on social networks that did not mention Coristine by name, Trump described the crime in Washington as “totally out of control.”

“The local members of ‘young’ and gangs, some of only 14, 15 and 16 years, are attacking, assaulting, mutilating, mutilating and shooting innocent citizens, at the same time knowing that they will be released almost immediately,” Trump wrote in Truth Social, saying that children under 14 should be judged as adults.

“If DC does not act together, and quickly, we will have no choice but to take federal control of the city, and direct this city how it should be executed, and put the criminals in warning that they will no longer get out of their own,” he added.

The former Doge chief, Elon Musk, published a screenshot of Trump’s social position in X and echoed his call for the Federal Government to take control of Washington.

Musk also referred to a Doge employee without a name in his position.

“A few days ago, a gang of a dozen young people tried to assault a woman in her car at night in DC,” Musk wrote in X. “A member of the @Doge team saw what was happening, he ran to defend her and was very beaten to the point of brain shock, but he saved her.”

The police report said the vehicle belonged to Coristine.

The report added that police officers saw about 10 “minors” around the car and attacked Coristine, which led the officers to leave their vehicle and all except two of the minors, whom the police arrested, to flee. Police said that in an interview, Coristine said he pushed the woman identified as her partner to the car and “turned to deal with the suspects,” who in turn assaulted him.

Police said the case is under investigation by the car theft work group, with multiple pending suspects.

Jeanine Pirro, the American prosecutor of Washington, published a video about X on Tuesday saying that he had just met with Trump to discuss “crime in the capital of the nation.”

“Our work is to get weapons out of the street, street drugs, take care of those people who threaten, steal other people and make this city safe and clean again. And that is just what we are going to do. And if you don’t buy it, you will have to deal with us,” said Pirro.

She didn’t mention Coristine in her video.

Despite Trump’s claims “out of control” in the city, the violent crime has dropped 26% compared to last year, according to preliminary police figures. At the same time, the alleged attack on Coristine occurs approximately one month after a 21 -year -old Congress intern was caught in cross -fire and fatally triggered in Washington.

Trump has previously expressed the desire to “clean” the capital of the nation and has threatened a federal acquisition of the city, which already has a limited capacity to self -govern. Congress has the ability to terminate these powers at discretion and the president.
