Fact check: Viral image of Trump’s angry rant against Modi on Truth Social is fake – World

Multiple users publications on the social media platform X on Friday shared an image of an alleged social position of the truth of the angry anger of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. However, the image is false and such publication was not shared.

On Wednesday, Trump imposed a 25 percent rate on the goods imported from India from August 1, along with an un specified penalty for buying Russian weapons and oil, potentially that they are for relations with the most populous democracy in the world. He also declared the dead Indian economy in the water.

The decision of the United States pointed to India more severely than other important commercial partners and threatened to unravel months of conversations between the two countries, undermining a key strategic partner of Washington and a counterweight to China.

Today, an X user, who seems to be an Indian of previous publications, shared an image that allegedly showed a Trump publication in Truth Social with the subtitle: “Disontent lover.”

The publication in the image said: “So difficult to believe that Prime Minister Modi has not yet responded to my tweets, statements or tariff concerns. We gave India a lot: great offers, defense support, great crowds, and yet a total silence. Not even gratitude!

“Do not forget: it is I who got India and Pakistan to declare fire.

The image, shared at 9:47 am, also said that Trump’s publication was shared and loved by several users in Truth Social.

The publication in X won 68,800 views.

The same image was also shared by other Indian accounts in X, as can be seen here, here, here and here, gathering 295,400, 21,300, 144,600 and 293,700 views, respectively.

The image was also widely shared in WhatsApp groups.

A verification of facts began to determine the veracity of the claim due to its high virality and its great public interest in the new commercial measures taken by the United States and how bilateral relations with India affect.

The image review through false image detection tools, such as the false image detector, showed that it marked it as “computer or modified”, while another version of the tool said that the authenticity of the image was 32 percent.

Verify Trump’s account about Truth Social, which is used by the president of the United States for several ads, did not throw such positions.

Similarly, such publications were also shared in their Mango X.

Going through Trump’s mango files also showed that such publications were not eliminated.

An inverse image and a keyword search did not show credible news reports from international, American or Indian media with respect to the alleged publication about Truth Social.

Therefore, the verification of facts determined that the statement that a viral image shows the angry pearl of the president of the United States, Donald Trump, against the Indian prime minister, Narendra Modi. FAKE. The image is false and manipulated.
