Haripur police arrested a suspect on Friday in a honey trap case involving a young man’s gang violation after attracting him.
The incident occurred within the limits of the Haripur City Police Station on Wednesday, and a first information report (FIR) was presented to the victim’s complaint under sections 355 (assault or criminal force with the intention of dishonoring a person) and 375a (group violation) of the Pakistan Criminal Code.
Shaukat Ali, a Muharrar at the Police Station, said Dawn.com: “A suspect has been arrested and the raids are underway to detain the other two.
“The victim said in his statement that he had understood a friendship with a girl, who called him from Abbottabad to meet her in Haripur.”
The FIR said that when the young man arrived at the place where they called him: “Three men caught me and hit me. They took me to the side of the garden to a gunpoint and then took my clothes, forcing themselves on me to turn while the third person was recording videos of the orders.”
The plaintiff said that the culprits also removed his mobile phone, the gifts he brought to the girl and RS35,000 in cash.
Earlier this week, Bahawalnagar police claimed to have broken a honey trap gang supposedly involved in the kidnapping, torture, extortion and murder of adolescents by misuse Tiktok profiles of university students and arrested three of its members.
The research team said Dawn.com that a 19 -year -old was attracted and then killed by the gang. The investigation led to the arrest of the alleged leader of the gang.
According to the reports, the gang used Tiktok identifications of several university girls to attract young victims. The researchers said that the suspects first won the confidence of these students and then badly used their identities of social networks.
