The representative Cory Mills, R-Fla., Faces to a lawsuit that seeks its eviction for alleged lack of paying thousands of dollars for rent on a property in Washington, DC, according to judicial documents.
In a complaint filed in the Superior Court of DC last week, Bozzuto Management Company said the congressman did not pay a total of $ 85,009 for rent between March and July. The monthly rental for the property, according to the presentation of the court, is $ 20,833.
The Management Company is asking the Court that allows the factories and an order that requires that future monthly payments with the court until the case is resolved. An initial audience is scheduled for September 8.
