Pakistan’s Hockey U-18 Asia Cup dream comes to an end as Japan wins final 3-0 – Sport

The dream of the Asia Sub Asia Cup of Pakistan’s male hockey came to an end when Japan won the last 3-0 on Sunday in Dazhou, China.

The final score of the game was 3-0, with Yuma Fujiwara of Japan scoring goals in the 22 and 38 minutes of the game and Tatsuaki Yasui converted a criminal corner to score in the 49th minute.

Pakistan had assured his place in the finals of the Asia U-18 Cup with a penalty victory over Malaysia, maintaining an undefeated streak in the tournament until the final.

Both teams obtained 3-3 in regular time, forcing the game to a criminal shooting, which Pakistan secured 4-3.

Before beating Malaysia, Pakistan had defeated China’s hosts 2-1 to qualify for the semifinal. They also defeated Bangladesh (6-3), Sri Lanka (9-0) and Hong Kong (8-0) during their campaign.

Last month, New Zealand beat Pakistan 6-2 in the final of the Fih Nations Cup in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, retaining his title.

Pakistan is also reviewing the security situation in India before attending to sending his hockey teams to the neighboring country for the Asia Cup and the Junior World Cup that will be held at the end of this year, the Press Trust of India (PTI) reported on Saturday.

According to him PTIA senior government official has said that the national team will not be sent to India if there are security threats for them.

Pakistan is scheduled to participate in the Asia Cup that is celebrated in Rajir, Bihar, from August 27 to September 7, for which the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has requested the authorization of the Government. Pakistan will also perform at the Junior Fih World Cup, which will organize in Chennai in November this year.
