Sindh police form special investigation team to probe death of actor Humaira Asghar – Pakistan

Police have formed a special investigation team to investigate the death of actor Humaira Asghar Ali, whose body was found in a Karachi apartment earlier this week, arose on Sunday.

The notification ordered the team to investigate the facts and thoroughly investigate the death of Humaira to determine the cause of death, whether natural, accidental, suicidal or murder, using all available resources and present a progress report to the SSP office daily.

The autopsy report was published to the Police, but the coroner could not determine the cause of death of the actor due to the level of decomposition.

The police had previously said that when he approached him, his family in Lahore, particularly his father, refused to take the body for the burial, triggering the shock throughout the entertainment industry.

On Thursday, however, his brother Naveed Asghar arrived in Karachi to take the body to Lahore for burial, calling the media for portraying his family with bad light. Police had declared that the actor’s body would be delivered to his brother after DNA’s coincidence.

Speaking to journalists, Naveed said: “The body was in police custody. The police had kept the body for the investigation before calling us (the family) to claim it.”

He said that during the last three days, the family was in contact with Chhipa and the Police.

“According to the guidelines, we were [eventually] I’m going to receive the body and perform the rites, ”he said.

In addition to being an artist of theater, cinema and television, Humera was also a visual artist who studied in the Department of Fine Arts of the University of Punjab and completed a degree of Fine Arts in Painting. During his university days, he had an interaction with theater groups like Natak, led by Dr. Ahmed Bilal, who was a theater group based at the university that consists of students.

He had interactions with Amjad Islam Amjad, Qavi Khan and other superior actors who used to visit the university to obtain conferences. In his first years of scenic art, he made about four or five television works by Pakistan. He also made a socially relevant and objective theater in those days.
