Zelenskyy said that Kremlin was “making a point” with the night attack to the western parts of Ukraine, while the peace efforts led by the United States are planted. He urged Ukraine members to impose stricted sanctions on Russian oil and who help finance the Kremlin war when buying it.
“Everyone who wants peace must act,” said Zelenskyy. The Ukrainian leader would meet with Pope Leo XIV on Wednesday during a visit to Italy.
