Frank Stronach pleads not guilty to 12 sexual assault charges, trial set for February


Billionaire businessman Frank Stronach is now ready to be tried in his case of sexual assault of Toronto at the beginning of next year before a judge alone.

Stronach’s defense lawyer says that he changed a jury trial to one with a judge only with the consent of the crown at a hearing this morning, with the trial scheduled to begin in February.

The defending lawyer Leora Shemesh also confirms that her client declared himself innocent today of the 12 positions she faces in Toronto.

Stronach is also expected to face a separate trial in Newmarket, Ontario, later in 2026 after the case was divided into two procedures last year.

The 92 -year -old magnate, who became one of the richest people in Canada as the founder of the Magna Autopartes giant and the Stronach Group, is one of the names of the largest industry in the horse races, possessing and operating clues of pure blood, including the famous Santa Anita Park in California.

Last year they accused him of 18 positions that involved 13 plaintiffs in Ontario.

The charges include sexual assault and indecent aggression, and some of them date from decades.

Stronach has denied all the accusations against him.
